MAC Guilty Passions Gift Sets

Brilliantly Cool Metallic Crush Pigments
-Spruced: Metallic Turquoise with green emerald undertone
-I've got a crush on you: Green and Intense red-brown duochrome (Blue brown pigment & club eyeshadows are dupes! But all three have their own unique finishes)
-Moss Garden: Silver green
-She's got class: metallic silver white

Spruce on the lids, topped off with Turquoise glitter completed look:

Moss Garden can be used all over the lids as a metallic wash, great for festive events.

I've got a crush on you: intense red-brown in flash.

Sweetly Smoky Crush Metallic Pigments

-Maribu: the lightest shade, silver lilac color, very princess-esque, reminds me a lot of the glamour daze collection eyeshadow in Ready to Party.
-Femininity: Intense electric violet, very close dupe to Stars and Rockets eyeshadow, and glamour daze collection eyeshadow in Stylish Merry, with tiny flecks of periwinkle glitter
-Prettified: A taupe purple, as if a couple of shades darker than Maribu
-Dusty Desire: Darker grape color, with tiny flecks of blue glitter

No flash:

Swatches, third swatch is Stylish Merry from Glamour Daze to compare.

Conclusion: Overall I am very impressed with MAC's holiday collection. These two sets are perfect for the girls who LOVE to play with color. There is another third set full of warm/neutral shades, however I couldn't get it in hand myself because it was sold out. I can see why others would want to purchase the warm set because these two sets require a lot of courage to wear outside. But I love to collect so I don't mind.

These pigments are very opaque, and metallic. However it is different from regular loose pigment. Crush pigments are literally crushed like small little rocks in the container. It requires a lot of steadyness to pick up the colors. Also, the fall-out is deadly. I tried to apply loose powder as usual to catch fall-out, however even when I brush it off at the end the pigments stick to my foundation. It was a disaster. I highly recommend apply these pigments PRIOR to the face makeup. It makes life so much easier when you have a makeup wipe in hand! Anyway, try to get your hands on the warm set if you're not settled for the vibrant colors. I cannot express how excited I was when I purchased both sets. MAC- great job with the colors!

Also one con, most of the colors are easily duped, as I listed on each pigment's desciption. I hope my review was helpful. Happy holidays!
